Zava was founded in 1982 from the visionary energy of Franco Zavarise. The firm work metal defining its history year after year, thanks to the handcraft skills, connected to technological innovations, which make Zava an excellence in metallic carpentry. Following his natural instinct for design, Franco Zavarise combines his experience in metal processing with a great passion for lighting. Here coexist craftsmanship + avant-garde technology, while the work outlined by machinery of latest generation is shaped by an irreplaceable manual workmanship, a great attention to details. Unique lighting collections whose pecularity are the result of the cocktail between iron's material consistency and the light's impalpable weightlessness. For years Zava has been sharing a vision of light with different designers involved, which can be resumed in few words: to give a face to a “know-how” that has always tried to combine technology, craftsmanship, design as its true vocation of the Made in Italy.
