Codital is a family-owned business established in 1967 as a factory’s Export Agency and client’s Buying Office specialized in the lighting industry. Over time we developed a solid experience, skills and competence building up strong connections within the industry. Nowadays, Codital - currently run by the second generation - is indisputably a highly reliable and reputable leading Company in Italy and in international markets, with a skilled and well organized flexible structure with a 10-member competent staff. Codital today works with more than 40 countries, each with a dedicated exclusive lighting brands portfolio. We are characterized by a flexible customer-oriented approach based on our experience and our knowledge of the lighting field as well as the specific culture, practice and requirements of each of the countries we operate in. Our professional staff support our clients in all their needs, finding the best lighting solutions for any kind of lighting project and working as a team with both clients and makers to reach ambitious targets together. In 2010 Codital took over the well-known US furniture brand PATINA® from its original owner - Patina Inc of Atlanta. Patina specializes in fine hand-painted furniture, which are actually highly customizable artistic pieces. Production takes place in our associated artisan workshops specialized in different handmade manufacturing phases and located in Meda, the famous furniture district in Milan’s hinterland. Our prestigious custom-made art pieces have furnished the palaces and villas of well-known actors, singers and other VIPs, active in politics and arts. Patina® has attended the main international furniture exhibitions and advertised in the best interiors magazines the likes of AD Interiors, World of Interiors, Elle Decor and Veranda.

IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE BUYING THROUGH CODITAL THAN FROM THE FACTORY?
We strictly work basedof each factory’s price list applying the best export discounts according to the factory’s commercial policy. In some cases due to our buying power, we may offer better conditions than the factory. In some cases there might be slight differences mostly compensated by the value added of our services.

CAN YOU ARRANGE INSTALLATION SERVICES?
Generally this service for standard products is not provided by the factories except for huge and complex products where only professional skilled factory staff could ensure a perfect and correct installation. Same goes for complex and large bespoke fixtures.

CAN YOU CONSOLIDATE ORDERS FROM DIFFERENT MAKERS LOCATED AROUND ITALY OR OTHER COUNTRIES?
Yes it’s part of our job, we consolidate orders from different makers into our logistics hub.

CAN YOU ARRANGE TRANSPORT TO FINAL DESTINATION?
Generally we receive shipping instructions from our clients who organize transport by their own. Upon request we can submit best quotations and in case of acceptance organize the international transport to final destination.
