Founded by Giuseppe Ostuni in 1945, Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting field still in operation today. Over time Oluce has managed to successfully build a collection of items that are able to go beyond fashion and became icons of Italian design. Oluce can count on a solid background of technical and lighting engineering skills, in addition to a style that has become a true signature trademark, thanks to a fruitful cooperation with masters of italian design such as Tito Agnoli, Joe Colombo, Marco Zanuso and Vico Magistretti. Oluce has won various Compasso d’Oro, One International Design Award, The Gold medal at the XIII Triennale di Milano and its products appear in the world’s most important design collections.
In the new millennium, the firm aims to revamp its collection and latest designers recently incorporated new technologies into Oluce’s unique aesthetics, which contribute to define the vision of the company by creating timeless lamps that are also sophisticated furnishing elements.
