Biffi Luce is a firm based on the outskirts of Milan with an experience dating from the company’s foundation in 1956. In 2010 the registration the trademark Aqlus, which led to the production of a collection of light fixtures of a minimal design that blend and enhance architectonic spaces and furnishings. These simple, linear products showcase light, focussing on the details and comfort of the environments for which they are designed. Biffi Luce / Aqlus takes care of lighting calculation for interior spaces by using the ldt files realized by the company’s photogoniometer and 3D printers, technically known as rapid prototyping. This allow designer the immediate possibility both to evaluate the esthetic and the functionality of the created product and to highlight and correct possible problems.
